Visual Kei

Have you ever heard about visual kei?

If the answer is no, see below what it is.

Visual kei is a music genre that born in Japan and mixes cosplay, metal, gothic and glam. The main characteristic of this tribe is the visual. The visual kei bands are very extravagant.

If you want to know more, do a search in last.fm or You Tube. There are several interesting bands.

Another important point is: this is the first time that a Japanese musical genre (related to street style) became famous in the west.

Colorful Headphones

There are a lot of brands and models  on the market. One of the most important brand is WESC (We Are The Superlative Conspiracy). In fact, WESC is a street style brand and sells clothes and acessories too.

Now I know what I want to buy in my next travel to Europe.

Lomography

The lomography began when two Austrians students found the Soviet LOMO camera in a Flea Market on Czech Republic.

Upon return to Viena, they discovered that the Lomo camera took no conventional pictures.

To disseminate this cameras, they founded the Lomography Society International   and quickly the lomography spread around the world.

There are many  models of lomographic cameras and each one takes pictures with different efects.

New Poser

I have a theory that the most things we see in fashion, are from 20 years ago.

The Poser return is a good example of this.

Watch the clip below to see the inspiration for these guys on the pictures.

Blythe Dolls – Toy Art

The Blythe Dolls were created in 1972 and left the market one year later. The girls were afraid because the doll changed the colour of its eyes.

In 2000 a Japanese company bougth the rights to produce the Blythes again and now there are a lot of new models.

The only problem is the price, here in Brazil the cheapest costs U$ 800,00.
